Story Grammar Marker
A program to help improve speaking, reading, and writing skills

This program is for students who have trouble comprehending what they read and hear as well as organizing their thoughts for oral and written expression. The SGM will help students:

•	Easily identify significant ideas
•	Sequence story details
•	Retain information by relating components
•	Use the critical thinking triangle to answer the how’s and 
	  why’s of characters’ actions and interactions
•	Infer information which is not directly stated
•	Predict
•	Initiate participation at their own level
•	Think critically and prepare themselves for the future
